Police have released footage of the dramatic moment that a New Mexico officer saved a baby’s life.

The Albuquerque Police Department dispatched Officer Martin Smith on May 14 after a call about an unresponsive baby.

He quickly began CPR on the 7-month-old baby girl as her terrified family looked on. The infant then started to breathe on her own.

The baby girl was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and has since been put on medication.
