WH Wants Apology From Sen. Sherrod Brown for Sexism Charge
The White House wants an apology after Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) suggested that President Barack Obama made sexist comments about Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
Brown said that Obama referenced Warren using her first name and said he may not have done that for a male senator.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that Brown “will want to offer up an apology because he’s a stand-up guy.”
Ainsley Earhardt remarked, “I’m just not sure why Sen. Brown is so offended by this if Elizabeth Warren is not offended by this […] if Elizabeth Warren is OK with being called Elizabeth and not senator by the president of the United States, then I’m not sure why [Brown] is getting involved.”
