O'Reilly: Behavior of Individuals Is What Leads to Success, Not Big Gov't
Bill O'Reilly said in his Talking Points Memo that in the past 48 years that Democrats have controlled the city of Baltimore, the city's population has fallen and crime has grown.
"During the past five years, the federal government poured billions of dollars into the poor areas of Baltimore, stimulus money," O'Reilly said. "The total taxpayer money given: $1.8 billion."
O’Reilly noted that the Belvedere neighborhood received $838 million dollars, including $467 million to education, $206 million to the environment, $24 million to ‘the family’ and $15 million to transportation.
O’Reilly said that the result of all that money being poured in, however, is not much improvement.
“So either the money is being stolen or the Democratic administration in Baltimore is so incompetent that despite billions of funding pouring in from we the taxpayers, poverty and hopelessness remain entrenched.”
O’Reilly said that President Obama has failed to spotlight the total failure of “money politics.”
“It is the behavior of individual human beings, not big daddy government, that leads to success,” O’Reilly said. “And touting that message is free of charge.”
“The Factor” host said that poor Americans have a right to be angry, but their anger should be directed at the corrupt, dishonest politicians who are lying to them.
"The truth is liberal policies of creating dependence and entitlement, promoting victimization and anger has failed to protect Americans who desperately need help," O'Reilly said.
"The Factor" host turned his attention to the Clinton Foundation, which has propelled Bill and Hillary Clinton into the public eye and given them an affluence few human beings will ever experience.
"But President Clinton believes he has done nothing wrong, even though the Clinton Foundation now has to re-file its income taxes because it failed to mention some big donors, and even though his wife Hillary Clinton signed an agreement with president Obama by accepting federal money," O'Reilly said. "Now there is no way on Earth that Bill and Hillary Clinton are going to admit any wrongdoing in running their foundation."
