There are fears of a serial shooter along a busy Colorado interstate after eight windows shattered in nine days.

Three shattered windows were reported yesterday along I-25 in Colorado. Days earlier, an abandoned truck was found with its rear window blown out, though authorities didn’t find bullets inside the vehicle.

Last week, one woman was shot on I-25 while driving home from work. Cari Romero said a car pulled up beside her and her window shattered. She was shot in the neck and needed surgery.

“It’s just reliving that moment over and over and over again,” Romero said.

Romero’s case is the only one that police are calling a shooting, and they say it appears to have been a random act.

Police say they don’t know what’s causing windows to shatter.
