Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) this afternoon responded to Sen. Rand Paul’s accusation that he and Sen. John McCain are “lapdogs” for President Barack Obama’s foreign policy.

McCain yesterday reacted to these remarks, calling Paul the "worst possible candidate" on national security.

Graham told Neil Cavuto that he likes the Kentucky senator, but noted, “On foreign policy, he’s much closer to Ron Paul than he is to Ronald Reagan.”

Graham added that Paul’s criticism isn’t personal to him and said he will support Paul if he becomes the GOP nominee for president.

“He called you a lapdog, that’s pretty personal,” Cavuto remarked.

“I’ve been called a lot worse than that,” Graham laughed.

The South Carolina senator also said that he will make an announcement on his 2016 plans "pretty soon."
