History sometimes does repeat itself.

Yesterday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) was photographed kissing Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in the White House Rose Garden.

This is the second time this year that Boehner has given Pelosi a peck on the cheek.

A photograph of the pair went viral in January 2015, showing them awkwardly displaying affection during the swearing-in ceremony for the 114th Congress.

Brit Hume reported on "Special Report" tonight that they were attending a signing ceremony for a bill that was passed on a bipartisan basis. It resolved a longstanding problem involving payments to doctors under Medicare.

Hume reported that yesterday the Senate also reached a compromise allowing a bill to combat human trafficking to go forward, which in turn cleared the way for a vote this week on the nomination of Loretta Lynch to be attorney general.

"Big fights remain ahead over the budget, that trade deal and much else. But things are clearly moving in Congress," Hume said.
