The manager of the Cincinnati Reds is not happy with the local media's coverage of his team. And we mean, really f****** not happy!

Bryan Price, with his team coming off four straight losses, unleashed a long and very profane tirade in his daily meeting with local reporters yesterday.

TV cameras had left, but audio recorders were still on. In the ensuing five-minute-long rant, the The Enquirer counted 77 uses of the f-word.

He said in part:

Your job is not to sniff out every f****** thing is about the Reds and f****** put it out there for every other f****** guy to hear.

[...]

So, I'm f******, to be honest with you, I'm f****** sick of this s***. I'm sick of listening to this f****** s***, I'm sick of f****** the f****** second-guessing b*******, you guys can do whatever the f*** you want, but I'll tell you this — I'm not going to f****** tell you everything about this f****** club, because you f****** guys are going to out there and sniff it out anyway. I don't f****** like it one f****** bit. I bend over backwards to be honest and direct with you f****** guys and you stick it right up my f****** a** — and the f****** team's a**. I'm sick of it.

Price was apparently upset by a report on catcher Devin Mesoraco not being with the team Sunday in St. Louis.

Reds fan Bill Hemmer noted that after Price's tirade, the Reds did beat the Brewers 6-1.

Check out the report above.

UPDATE: Price has now apologized for the language he used, but stood by his larger point about the role of the media.
