What do Hillary Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Kim Kardashian all have in common?

The three ladies were named to the Time 100, the magazine's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

The roster, which was released today, also includes Kanye West, Bradley Cooper, Pope Francis, President Barack Obama and Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

James Rosen told Megyn Kelly tonight on "The Kelly File" that the list is "intensely political" because of how the magazine selects who makes the cut and who is chosen to write about those on the list.

He said that Clinton was asked by the magazine to write about Warren.

Rosen explained that it's "one of a number of gestures that Clinton has made to Warren to dissuade her from causing problems for Clinton's candidacy."

Kelly remarked that it seems as though the magazine is going out of the way to stir the pot with these pairings.
