Fiery 'What Took So Long?' Gretchen Slams Delayed Purple Hearts for Ft. Hood Victims
Gretchen Carlson slammed a “politically correct” administration for a delay in awarding Purple Heart medals to the victims of the 2009 Fort Hood massacre.
“What took so long?” she asked, calling it embarrassing that the U.S. waited so long to honor the heroes who died at Fort Hood.
“What’s wrong with our country that we seemingly continue to help the killer, Major Nidal Hasan, and not those people? What’s wrong? I say our politically correct White House and military higher-ups who allowed the workplace violence narrative to go on for five years,” Carlson said.
Carlson said that there was no confusion that Hasan’s massacre was an act of war. She remarked that he yelled “Allahu Akbar” as he slaughtered heroes who he said he killed to protect Islamic insurgents around the world.
