Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tonight reacted to Charles Krauthammer’s remark that Paul is the Republican candidate who is “closest to Obama in his view of foreign policy.”

“I like Charles, he’s a fellow physician and we have a good personal relationship, but you know what? Sometimes he’s just wrong,” Paul said.

The Kentucky senator said that neocons are closer to Obama’s policies than he is. Paul noted that he’s opposed to Obama’s arming of Syrian rebels and has supported more significant Iranian sanctions.

Megyn Kelly asked: Do you think Krauthammer is a neocon?

“I would say that Charles, on this issue, is incorrect,” Paul said.

Paul also sounded off on ISIS, saying that the terror group is strong because it’s fighting with Western arms. He also called on civilized Islam to rise up against Islamic terrorism.
