LPGA Golfer Defends Topless Magazine Cover
LPGA golfer Lexi Thompson appeared on "Fox and Friends" this morning to address criticism of her controversial "Golf Digest" cover photo, which shows her shirtless and covered with a small jacket.
Thompson, who's the first female pro to grace the cover of the magazine's "fitness and power" issue, said she's received a lot of positive feedback from the photo, although some are calling it too risqué.

"I have more clothes on in that picture than a lot of the girls that I go to the beach with," Thompson pointed out. "I actually have shoes on, I have shorts on and I have a jacket covering me. You know it’s pretty funny to hear those comments."
"I decided that I wanted to do it not only to represent myself as a professional athlete and a golfer, but to represent just all women athletes in general," Thompson explained. "Fitness is a huge part of my life and a huge part of the LPGA tour at that. There’s a lot of fit athletes out there, and you know, fitness is a huge part of an athlete’s life in general."
