Gowdy: Hillary Clinton Wiped Server Between October & December 2014
Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, went “On The Record” to discuss Hillary Clinton’s home server.
Gowdy said that Clinton’s server was wiped at some point between Oct. 28, 2014, and mid-December of 2014. Lawmakers have been asking Clinton for her documents since weeks after the 2012 Benghazi attack, Gowdy said.
The Benghazi select committee was created in May 2014, and it immediately tried to get Clinton’s complete record from the State Department, but Gowdy said “the State Department either had amnesia or just chose not to tell us they didn’t have the records.”
“This indicates that we’re gonna have to have a separate conversation with Secretary Clinton about this email arrangement that she had with herself,” Gowdy said of the revelation that Clinton’s server has been wiped.
“I need to ask what she did and when she did it and, importantly, why she did it,” he said.
