Charles Krauthammer tonight reacted to the news that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) will run for president.

Krauthammer said that Cruz’s appeal is that he’s a constitutional conservative with a “liquid tongue” who can make his case.

Still, Krauthammer said, “Senators are gonna have a hard time, first-term senators. We already tried a first-term senator.”

Cruz talks about “walking the walk,” but that’s not his record in the Senate, Krauthammer said.

Meanwhile, Krauthammer said that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker could make a strong argument by saying he ran his state, took on the liberals and won.
