Police in Texas created an explosive spectacle by detonating 20,000 pounds of confiscated fireworks.

The fireworks were seized during raids that lasted roughly three-and-a-half days across Glasscock County by the Midland Police Department.

A court ordered that the fireworks be properly disposed of in a controlled destruction during the day, because "it was not meant to be a fireworks show."

The fiery footage of the disposal was posted on the Midland Police Department Facebook page and has been viewed nearly 125,000 times.
