On "Hannity," former Texas Gov. Rick Perry said that the next president should not be held to the agreement being negotiated with Iran over the country's nuclear program.

"There has to be lock-down, solid, no way that Iran is going to get a nuclear weapon, period," Perry said.

"Until we are assured, there is going to be no work with Iran until they have assured us and to our satisfaction that they are not putting weapons into terrorists' hands."

He asserted that Iran is functioning as the major supplier for both Hezbollah and Hamas.
