New heart-stopping video shows the moment a bus driver fell asleep behind the wheel and slammed into multiple vehicles in suburban Detroit.

West Bloomfield, Mich., police said the crash, which happened in October, produced one of the longest crash scenes they've ever seen.

Leon Rasheed, 65, now faces a misdemeanor charge that carries a possible sentence of up to three months in jail.

Rasheed and the bus passengers were not seriously hurt, but the first car that the bus slammed into was carrying an elderly couple who both suffered serious injuries.

Rasheed was arraigned this week. He was found not to be on drugs or alcohol at the time, and expressed remorse to the victims.
