Democratic Rep. Gabbard: 'We're Not Recognizing Who Our Enemy Is'
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) went “On The Record” this evening to sound off on the beheadings of 21 Christians in Libya.
“We are not recognizing who our enemy is and what’s driving them, and the results of that is exactly what occurred in Libya,” she said.
Gabbard called it "mind-boggling" and "troubling" that President Barack Obama won't recognize who the enemy is.
Gabbard said that the framework for defeating ISIS will require three things. First, she said we will need to “go in and hit hard” with military action, plus ally ourselves with Jordan, Egypt, the Kurds and Sunni tribes. Second, Gabbard said there must be a political solution. Lastly, she said we must recognize the ideological war.
