An unaltered photograph of supermodel Cindy Crawford is going viral, but not for the reasons you might expect.

The picture, which was reportedly leaked from a December 2013 cover story in Marie Claire Mexico, shows the the 48-year-old mother of two in lingerie and a feather coat, proudly posing without the aid of any airbrushing or Photoshopping.

The photo has stirred discussion about what "real" women look like, and many people have taken to social media to praise Crawford for the un-retouched image, which they say proves that real beauty is being comfortable in your own skin.

On "Outnumbered" today, Julie Roginsky asked, "Why are we commending a supermodel for looking something less than 'supermodel-y,' but still better than 99.9 percent of the world? Am I supposed to all of a sudden say, 'Cindy Crawford looks so real.' She doesn't look real. She's an incredible specimen of beauty that does not have anything in common with what real people look like."

Andrea Tantaros said Crawford looks like she's had two kids and she's embracing it.

Kennedy asserted that Crawford actually doesn't look that different than she did in her late 20s or early 30s.

"I don't think at this point in her life she needs to be so superficial that that's all she's focused on," Kennedy said.
