During an interview on "The Today Show" in 2013, former first lady Barbara Bush said she didn't think her son Jeb Bush should run for president because there had been "enough Bushes" in the White House.

On Friday, she announced that she has changed her mind.

Appearing via Skype at the the 15th annual Celebration of Reading gala where Jeb Bush was speaking, she interrupted and said, "Jeb, it’s mom. Listen, what do you mean, ‘too many Bushes’? … I changed my mind."

Former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown said on "Fox and Friends Weekend" that it's important that Jeb Bush has his mother's support.

Brown also noted that Bush is raising a ton of money for what appears to be a very likely 2016 presidential run.

"He has to be ready on the issues, though. I've heard him speak. He has a lot of work to do ... on women's issues, on immigration, on the core, everyday, mom and pop safety and security issues. He's got a lot of work to do," Brown said.
