Dash cam video has now been released by police after a Pennsylvania woman somehow managed to drive off in a police cruiser while handcuffed.

The woman, identified as 27-year-old Roxanne Rimer, led officers on a wild chase through Beaver County, reaching 100 mph at one point.

Rimer had been pulled over on suspicion of shoplifting earlier this month. When she was placed in the back of the police car, she managed to shimmy her way through the glass partition into the driver's seat.

Police expressed amazement afterwards that no one ended up hurt.

They credited that to the fact that the car's siren and lights were on the whole time.
