Court: Parents Can’t Name Child 'Nutella'
A court in France has decided that one odd baby name is not so sweet.
Judges ruled that a set of parents could not name their recently born daughter “Nutella.”
A French newspaper reported that the court said the name was not in the best interests of the child, arguing that Nutella is the trade name of a spread and that it would lead to teasing.
The parents did not appear in court, so a judge renamed the little girl “Ella.”
