Car Found in Fla. Canal Linked to 1978 Disappearance of Teens
There has been a possible break in a decades-old missing persons case in Florida.
The wreckage of a 1969 Dodge Coronet was pulled from a South Florida canal yesterday after it was spotted by a maintenance worker. Authorities confirm that the vehicle belonged to 19-year-old Harry Wade Atchison, who went missing with his 15-year-old girlfriend Dana Null back in October 1978.
Atchison and Null went to a Journey concert the evening they disappeared, and witnesses say they got in a fight. The couple was last seen driving away from Atchison’s home.
The missing teens’ bodies were not found in the car, but divers are searching the canal for clues.
