Ingraham: Obama's Goal Is to 'Remake America'
Laura Ingraham sounded off tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor" about the proposals President Obama announced during last night's State of the Union address.
She said that people shouldn't be surprised by Obama wanting to take from the rich and give to the poor.
"I don't know why anyone is surprised by this, it's amassing more power in Washington," she explained. "I don't really think it's all about education or that we want people to go to community college. I think the goal of Obama is to remake America. That means, as you pointed out, to amass more power ... and more control in Washington, D.C."
O'Reilly remarked that he would oppose Obama's community college plan of providing free tuition for two years and that he would vote against it if he were in Congress.
"The tuition is rock bottom and when I was in college, I painted houses," O'Reilly said. "I worked my butt off and it was good that I did that ... You achieve, you earn and you pay your way through."
"The Factor" host did say that he would vote for Obama's proposal to provide seven paid sick leave days.
