Hungry for Love? Cannibal Cop Joins Match.com
Hungry for love? The NYPD “cannibal cop,” who was convicted of plotting to cook and eat his ex-wife, has reportedly joined Match.com.
Former officer Gilberto Valle’s profile says he enjoys cooking and dining out, but does not mention that he’s on supervised release.
Valle was released from jail this summer after a judge tossed his conviction, saying the cannibalism was all a fantasy.

Under the handle “AmicableOne14,” the 30-year-old, disgraced former NYPD officer notes he’s a big foodie looking for a woman age 24 to 32 who likes cooking, dining out and wine tasting. Of his ideal date, he writes: “You appreciate the simple things and can make the best out of a situation that is less than ideal,” perhaps alluding to the fact that he’s under “supervised release” and has a curfew.
“You’re non-judgmental. You can generally see the good in people and you are kind and generous . . . You appreciate and laugh at bad jokes,” he writes. “If this is you, let’s get a cup of coffee.”
Valle notes he’s divorced with a child but fails to point out his wife fled out of fear of being an entree.
The hungry-for-love bachelor does list several qualities about himself in order to lure the perfect woman to eat . . . dinner with.
“I have a few bucket list items: a cross-country drive along with other traveling, seeing Jerry Seinfeld do stand-up, going to a live Hell’s Kitchen dinner service,” he proclaims.
