Man Gives Free Round-the-World Trip to Woman With Ex's Name
A Canadian man planned an amazing three-week, eight-country vacation with his then-girlfriend.
When they broke up, Jordan Axani was stuck with a pricey, non-refundable ticket under the name Elizabeth Gallagher that he didn't want to go to waste.
Axani posted on the Internet, looking for a woman also named Elizabeth Gallagher with a Canadian passport to take his ex-girlfriend's place.
18 Elizabeth Gallaghers answered Axani's call. He eventually chose Elizabeth Quinn Gallagher, a 23-year-old student, who accompanied him on the round-the-world trip.
Axani returned just last week and he appeared on "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning to reveal how the globe-trotting went.
He made it clear that this was never a romantic endeavor, so it didn't matter to him that Quinn already had a boyfriend.
He explained that he and Quinn have a great brother-sister relationship and they really enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime trip that took them to cities such as New York City, Paris, Prague, Bangkok, Hong Kong, New Delhi and more.
Axani also discussed A Ticket Forward, a charitable organization he started that sends survivors of abuse, cancer and warfare on a trip of a lifetime.
