On "Cashin' In" today, Eric Bolling called out the liberal left for its "absolute refusal" to step up and fight Islamic extremism in America.

Bolling noted several troubling developments on that front that occurred just this week.

First, the arrest of 20-year-old Christopher Lee Cornell, who allegedly planned to gun down lawmakers at the U.S. Capitol building, is another example of an American citizen self-radicalizing.

Second, President Obama's recent release of five prisoners from Guantanamo Bay could send our enemies right back into the fight.

Third, Bolling questioned House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's appointment of Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) to the House Intelligence Committee.

Bolling pointed out that Carson, who is a Muslim, said at the Islamic Circle of North America Conference in May 2012, "America will never tap into educational innovation and ingenuity without looking at the model that we have in our madrassas, in our schools, where innovation is encouraged, where the foundation is the Quran."

Bolling said that Carson has his rights to free speech and freedom of religion, but questioned whether liberal progressives are going too far.

"I sure hope this grand experiment of liberal tolerance and political correctness works out, because if it fails, we're screwed," Bolling said.

"The far left is trying to reshape America, and I, for one, like it just the way it is."
