They call it the world's most dangerous race and in the video above, you can see why. 

A Canadian driver and two others unbelievably avoided serious injury after a spectacular crash at the Dakar Rally in South America, which ended with the vehicle in flames. 

Matt Campbell's vehicle flipped several times after he drove into a water hazard in the Bolivian desert. It's estimated that he was traveling above 100 mph when he lost control. 

CBC reported that the 63-year-old Calgary native was released from a hospital, only suffering bumps and bruises.

The other members of his team were also not seriously hurt.
