Who is the on-the-run female suspect in this week's terror attacks in France?

Hayat Boumeddiene, 26, was the wife of Amedy Coulibaly, who took and killed hostages inside a kosher market today. The two reportedly married after Coulibaly got out of prison for armed robbery, but their marriage was not a civil ceremony and is not recognized under French law.

Boumeddiene went from posing in a bikini to wearing a full veil. She told police that she quit her job as a cashier for Islam and that her husband radicalized her. Boumeddiene described America as the ultimate evil.

Police say that Boumeddiene made 500 phone calls in the past year to the wives of the Kouachi brothers, the two men suspected in the Charlie Hebdo attack.

Boumeddiene, her husband and the Kouachi brothers reportedly often traveled together, including to visit the home of an al Qaeda terrorist who is serving 10 years in a French prison.

Police believe that the four were all working together to orchestrate the attacks.

Boumeddiene was first believed to be inside the kosher market today, but prosecutors now say she was not.
