Mitt Romney weighed in on Twitter on Sony's decision to cancel the Christmas Day release of "The Interview."

The announcement came Wednesday afternoon following a threat from hackers to movie theaters planning to show the Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy.

Also on Wednesday, the FBI said that the hack was connected to North Korea.

The end of the film is said to show North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un's head blowing up.

The former presidential candidate's sentiments were backed up by numerous celebrities following Sony's controversial move.
