Jeb Bush to 'Actively Explore' Presidential Run
It appears that the speculation is over.
In a Facebook post, Jeb Bush announced that he has decided to "actively explore" the possibility of running for president in the 2016 election.
On "America's Newsroom" today, Mike Warren explained that Jeb Bush is seen as less conservative than the Republican Party on the issues of immigration and his support of the Common Core State Standards Initiative.
Warren said that the GOP has changed in recent years, and it's possible that Bush doesn't have his finger to the pulse of the party anymore.
On the other hand, Warren said, Bush is a very skilled politician.
"I don't think that Jeb Bush will just get swept aside by the conservative primary electorate," Warren remarked.
Earlier on "America's Newsroom," Ed Rollins said this is the "exploratory portion" of Bush's candidacy. Although Bush is a strong candidate and "the best-prepared of the Bushes to be president," he's not currently the front runner, Rollins said.
"I think he's going to be a very credible candidate. He is a thoughtful person. I think he will grow on people as time goes on, and I expect him to be one of the two or three most serious candidates we have."

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
Like many of you, our family was blessed with the opportunity to gather together over the recent Thanksgiving holiday.
Columba and I are so proud of the wonderful adults our children have become, and we loved spending time with our three precious grandchildren.
We shared good food and watched a whole lot of football.
We also talked about the future of our nation. As a result of these conversations and thoughtful consideration of the kind of strong leadership I think America needs, I have decided to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States.
In January, I also plan to establish a Leadership PAC that will help me facilitate conversations with citizens across America to discuss the most critical challenges facing our exceptional nation. The PAC’s purpose will be to support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans.
In the coming months, I hope to visit with many of you and have a conversation about restoring the promise of America.
Best wishes to you and your families for a happy holiday season. I’ll be in touch soon.
