Williams: 'A Reminder of Liberal Hypocrisy When It Comes to Racism'
The massive hacking of Sony Pictures has led to the release of the personal information of nearly 47,000 Sony employees and former employees, including A-list celebrities Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and more.
Now, the media is consumed by leaked emails between producer Scott Rudin and Sony Pictures executive Amy Pascal, who made mean-spirited comments about Jolie - calling her a "minimally talented spoiled brat" - and racially insensitive jokes about President Obama.
On "Media Buzz" today, Juan Williams said these jokes about Obama indeed had "strong racial overtones."
"For me, having worked in a liberal media environment at NPR and being fired for saying some things, I thought it was a reminder of liberal hypocrisy when it comes to racism," Williams said.
"Normally, they're always all over Republicans and conservatives, but, in this instance, what you see here is that these very liberal Hollywood elites, who give money to Democrats, are condescending to the president of the United States."
