Texas Gov.-elect Greg Abbott went “On The Record,” where he pledged to sue President Barack Obama over his executive action on immigration.

When Presidents Reagan and Bush issued executive orders, Abbott said that they were executing laws passed by Congress. However, he said Obama issued executive orders because Congress would not pass a law.

Abbott said that more than 1,000 people per day crossed the Texas border due to DACA, and that the cause and effect of such action has already been established.

Abbott told Greta Van Susteren that the lawsuit against Obama “will be any day now.”
