O'Reilly: Obama's Action 'Set off Constitutional Brawl,' Will Hurt Nation
In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly charged President Barack Obama with challenging the Constitution and dividing the nation with his immigration action.
Texas and Oklahoma have announced that they will sue Obama on the grounds that he’s violating states’ constitutional rights. The Obama administration disagrees, and millions of dollars will be spent defending his actions in court, "The Factor" host predicted.
“But in the end, the president may very well lose in the Supreme Court,” O’Reilly said.
According to O’Reilly, “the tragedy here is none of this had to happen.” O’Reilly said he believes that the new Congress would have passed an immigration law if it had been given the chance, but Obama was in a rush, and the question is why.
“What Barack Obama has done is setting off a constitutional brawl that will be harmful to a nation that needs united leadership and intense problem solving,” he said.
