Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge reported the latest this morning on a new ISIS video showing the beheading of another American hostage.

Peter Kassig, a former Army Ranger from Indiana, was in Syria working to help refugees.

It still isn't clear when Kassig was actually beheaded. He is the third American hostage to be beheaded by ISIS, and fifth Westerner, in less than three months.

Fox News military analyst Bob Scales believes that ISIS probably executed Kassig last month, but released the video this weekend because of the visit to Iraq by Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Herridge reported that French officials believe a French citizen named Maxime Hauchard is one of the dozen executioners in the video. The man believed to be Hauchard is seen on the horrific tape beheading Syrian soldiers.

Unlike previous ISIS videos, Herridge noted that this one did not end with another Western hostage being shown and threatened.

Herridge said this is seen as evidence that other hostages, including British photographer John Cantlie, may be held in separate locations.
