O'Reilly: Seething Over Election, Obama 'Declaring War on GOP'
In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly charged President Barack Obama with “declaring war on the Republican Party.”
Obama is expected to grant legal status to more than 4 million illegal immigrants in the United States, Fox News has reported.
“That is insulting to new Congress which begins in January,” O’Reilly said.
“The Factor” host remarked that Republicans are already unified in opposition to the unilateral action, which means there will be consequences. For example, the House could block the spending bill which is supposed to pass in December.
While Obama knows this is terrible for the country, O’Reilly said “he doesn’t seem to care.”
“The president, seething over the election results, has decided to tear the country apart politically,” he said.
O’Reilly said he isn’t talking about the merits of Obama’s plan, just the “blatant action that will divide the country, an action that has no urgency behind it.”
“But by initiating an executive order that changes federal law with a signature, Barack Obama mocks the Founding Fathers and the Republican Party,” he said.
