One of the architects of ObamaCare, Jonathan Gruber, made shocking comments in a recently released video that the whole bill was deliberately kept vague to deceive "stupid" American voters.

Howard Kurtz appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight to weigh in on how the mainstream media failed to cover this bombshell revelation.

"It's been a virtual blackout, Bill, and it's inexcusable," Kurtz said, pointing out that there was only one mention of Gruber's comments on CNN and zero in The New York Times.

"On what planet is this kind of embarrassing admission not news?" Kurtz asked.

O'Reilly said that some of the blame actually lays at Kurtz's feet, as Kurtz never accused the media of a left-wing bias during his many years as the media writer for The Washington Post.

"You didn't pound - like Bernie Goldberg does, and a few others - that the media is a liberal colossus," O'Reilly said, explaining that the news is filtered so much that the American people never see it if it does not fit the liberal orthodoxy.

Gruber's comments are absolute proof of the media's left-wing bias, O'Reilly said.

"This has been going on for decades and now finally it has broken open."
