Arson Suspected in Massive Blaze at Political Operative's Home
The feds are probing an arson attack on a prominent political operative’s New Orleans home.
Mario Zervigon is the campaign finance director for Public Service Commission candidate Forest Wright. He helped eight people escape as flames ripped through his home. Three cats were killed in the fire, KPTV reported.
Authorities suspect that two vehicles behind the building were the target of the attack.
Zervigon says he doesn’t know of anybody who wants to harm him.
The ATF says it is looking for suspects.
