Yesterday, a Philadelphia Police officer was injured in a fiery crash, but escaped with his life, thanks to the help of some Good Samaritans.

Instead of running to safety when the officer's cruiser was broadsided by another vehicle and burst into flames, the group of heroes actually ran into the fire to help pull the officer to safety.

Although the suspect who caused the crash is still on the run, the police officer is in the hospital recovering.

Below, he is pictured with one of his rescuers, 17-year old volunteer firefighter Joe Chambers.
