Robertson’s Advice to Nephew: Revere Religion, Morality & Freedom
Phil Robertson and his nephew, House candidate Zach Dasher, were on “Hannity” tonight.
“I’ve been counseling Zach with the same counsel I gave you, Hannity. Never leave home without your Bible and your woman, especially if you’re gonna get into politics,” Robertson said.
Robertson told Hannity, “I’m giving Zach the same advice that John Adams told his wife Abigail in a letter, he said, ‘Let my sons revere nothing but religion, morality and freedom,” and he would be a happy, happy man. And that’s what basically I’m telling my little nephew here, religion, morality, and freedom.”
Dasher then discussed politics with Hannity, telling him, “We need to preserve the Constitution but we can’t do that until we preserve the Declaration of Independence for crying out loud.”
