O'Reilly: Elected Officials Failing to Protect Americans From Danger
In tonight’s Talking Points Memo, Bill O’Reilly said that due to growing threats to our national and personal security, Americans need protection more than ever.
Unfortunately, according to O’Reilly, the people we have elected to protect us are not up to the job.
“The Factor” host examined four different threats to our security – ISIS, Ebola, illegal alien criminals and fanatical Muslims – and the failures of the Obama administration in protecting Americans from them.
O’Reilly noted that ISIS is now estimated to have up to 50,000 members who are bent on imposing a fundamentalist Muslim state on the world.
“There will be more ISIS terror. You can count on it,” O’Reilly warned.
He added that one of the major failings of the Obama administration is that ISIS was allowed to gain power unchecked in the first place.
O’Reilly then pointed out that from the very beginning Talking Points has called for restricting visas from West Africa, so that Americans will not be exposed to other people carrying Ebola.
The Obama administration, however, has not restricted visas from West Africa and has also refused to quarantine people coming to the U.S. from Ebola-affected regions.
O’Reilly said the overall federal policy on Ebola remains confused and ineffective, and that is why states like New York, New Jersey and Illinois are imposing their own quarantine measures, adding to the confusion.
"All of this Ebola madness is a danger to the public health," he stated.
“The Factor” host added that the criminal illegal alien situation is out of control, pointing to the tragic deaths of Sacramento County Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver and Plasser County detective Michael Davis, who were shot dead by a Mexican illegal alien who had been deported twice before.
“So, we have two dead police officers and we have thousands of other Americans who have been harmed by other criminal illegal aliens, mostly men, who were deported and came back because they knew they could,” O’Reilly said.
O’Reilly said the security of every single American citizen is compromised because the federal government will not enforce immigration law to secure the borders and make new laws that would put an end to this madness.
“There is no excuse any longer and I’m speaking to you President Obama,” O’Reilly said. “You are the leader of this country. You must start telling federal agencies to enforce the law. You must.”
Finally, O’Reilly turned his attention to the shocking hatchet attack in New York City on four police officers by 32-year-old Zale Thompson, a self-radicalized Muslim convert who had a beef against the cops.
“Zale joins Alton Nolen in Oklahoma City, a Muslim who beheaded a co-worker, and Nidal Hasan in Fort Hood, who murdered 13 Americans working on that army base,” O’Reilly said. “All three men, Muslim extremists.”
O'Reilly pointed out that no leader can stop crazy people from killing innocent people, but the New York City police department used to investigate radical Muslim mosques, trying to find out who the crazy people are.
Under liberal Mayor Bill de Blasio, though, that surveillance has been curtailed.
“Again, that puts us all in danger. Every American police department should be surveilling radical mosques. That is not a violation of the constitution. That's upholding it,” O’Reilly concluded.
“The American people need protection. So, you can see that ISIS, Ebola, criminal illegal aliens and crazy Muslim fanatics are all a danger to our security. And those we elect to protect us from danger are simply not doing the job.”
