The man who heroically stopped a gunman inside Canada's Parliament building received a rousing ovation from lawmakers, who were back in session this morning in Ottawa.
Heroic Sergeant-at-Arms Shot Canadian Parliament Gunman
The House of Commons' Sergeant-at-Arms, Kevin Vickers, fatally shot a gunman who had infiltrated Parliament’s Centre Block after killing a soldier stationed at the National War Memorial.
Vickers had previously served as an officer in the RCMP.
