Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen caused a bit of an uproar Wednesday with a tweet about gun control during the unfolding terror in Ottawa

As news was breaking in Canada, Teigen attempted to point out how many mass shootings have taken place in the U.S.

That quickly led to a ton of tweets at Teigen, slamming her for the remark. She refused to take it back.

The "Outnumbered" panel took on these comments this afternoon, with Eric Bolling calling out Teigen for tweeting the remark while CPR was still being done on victims.

"Chrissy Teigen is known for, obviously, her lovely bottom and her food Instagram pictures. She should stick to that," said Andrea Tantaros, adding that Teigen played into the "dumb model" stereotype with her comment.

Tantaros suggested that Teigen educate herself about the threat posed by Islamic extremists.

All agreed that the timing was insensitive, but Kirsten Powers argued that Teigen's apparent argument that the U.S. has a problem with guns was not necessarily insensitive.
