GOOD NEWS 'Mouth-to-Snout' CPR Saves Fla. Dog
A Florida man was caught on camera springing into action to save his four-legged friend.
Andrew Burtschin, of Key Largo, Fla., saved his dog, Shadow, with "mouth-to-snout" CPR after Shadow bit a poisonous toad, had a seizure and fell into a canal.
Burtschin noticed that his dogs were chewing on something just before it happened. Luckily, he was able to pull Shadow from the water and revive her.
“I was in the right place at the right time, and I’m really happy. She’s a great dog. I’m really happy she’s alive,” he said.
Shadow is doing fine, but she hasn’t learned her lesson – the mischievous pooch still sets off to hunt the local toads.
