Is the landline dead?

A new study found that 35 percent ignore their home phone, more than half say they rarely use it, and 28 percent don’t even know their own number.

Dana Perino said she doesn’t even have a landline anymore.

“Bob, your first landline was one of those tin cans with the string,” she quipped.  Bob Beckel told her that back when he was a kid, they had party lines, so you could hear your neighbors’ conversations.

Eric Bolling said he does have a landline because it’s bundled in with TV and Internet. Greg Gutfeld referred to it as “the little brother of a friend who tags along that you’re just stuck with.” He also reflected on his prank calling days.
