Teen Accused of Cheating Sues School District Over 'F' Grade
A Washington state high school student accused of cheating on a test is suing the school district over a failing grade.
The Lindbergh High School student got an ‘F’ on her chemistry test after her teacher found a cheat sheet in her bag, which was allegedly accessible during the test. But the teen’s attorney says that the teacher never saw the student cheating.
The student got an ‘F’ and one day of detention. She appealed, and the school board dropped the detention, but not the grade.
The teen is not seeking financial compensation; she just wants the 'F' dropped from her record because it could hurt her chances of getting into college.
Shepard Smith and Fox News legal analyst Mercedes Colwin discussed the case this afternoon. Watch the segment above.
