Trace Gallagher tonight reported that the second Texas nurse who has been diagnosed with Ebola called the CDC ahead of her flight from Cleveland to Dallas.

Amber Vinson called the CDC a number of times ahead of her Frontier Airlines flight. She had a 99.5-degree fever but the CDC said it was OK for her to fly since she didn’t have symptoms and her fever wasn’t 100.5 degrees or higher.

There were 132 other passengers aboard the Oct. 13 flight.

The National Nurses Union says health care workers in Texas did not have the proper clothing when treating Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan, who later died. The CDC has not denied the allegation.
