Wells Fargo Worker Asks CEO for Raise, Copies 200K Employees on Email
A Wells Fargo employee in Portland, Ore., asked his boss for a raise – then CC’ed 200,000 fellow employees on the email!
Tyrel Oates, 30, sent an email to the CEO, working out all the math for him.
He wrote, “My estimate is that Wells Fargo has roughly around 300,000 employees. My proposal is to take $3 billion, just a small fraction of what Wells Fargo pulls in annually, and raise every employee’s annual salary by $10,000. This equates to an hourly raise about $4.71 per hour.”
A panel on “The Real Story” sounded off on the request. Hear what they had to say in the video above.
