Parents Desperate to Find Daughter Who Vanished From Mall Parking Garage
The parents of a Texas woman who vanished from a parking garage a week ago spoke to Fox and Friends this morning to detail the desperate search.
Christina Morris, 23, was last seen around 3 a.m. on Aug. 30 in a parking garage near a shopping center in Plano, Texas.
Surveillance video shows Morris and a friend walking to their cars before going their separate ways. The friend who was with her is not being treated as a person of interest.
Morris’ car was found in the parking garage, still locked, but there was no sign of her. Police said they had "a lot of catching up to do" because Morris was not reported missing for four days.
Her mother, Jonni McElroy, said she was contacted by her daughter's best friend who was worried because she hadn't heard from Christina in four days.
Her father, Mark Morris, said cell phone records indicated that Christina was trying to call her boyfriend right before entering the garage.
The surveillance video does not show Christina leaving the garage.
McElroy believes her daughter is alive and expressed hope that authorities will find her.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Plano Police Department at (972) 424-5678.
