The full fury of mother nature was on display on Aug. 29 during the eruption of Mount Tavurvur in Papua New Guinea.

Following the devastating volcanic blast, which sent lava spewing hundreds of feet in the air and a plume of ash billowing tens of thousands of feet into the sky, a sonic boom shook the surrounding area for miles.
