Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) went “On The Record” tonight, where he advised on how to handle ISIS and criticized the president for leading from behind.

“Kill them,” McCain said, explaining that the U.S. must have a goal and strategy, but doesn’t.

“The president, incredibly, the other day said that the world is messy and it’s social networking,” McCain said. “I mean, that to me was one of most unbelievable comments ever made.”

McCain called for the full weight of American air power and said destroying ISIS would mean some boots on the ground.

The senator said he knows that there are “all kinds of plans out there.”

“It’s up to the president to decide to pull the trigger, and obviously he’s not ready to do it, and that’s a shame,” he said.
